Gift Baggies Made our Girls Beam with Joy!

It’s often the “little things” that bring the most pleasure and excitement into a child’s life. Last week, our Director of Development, Chavi Weiss, packed up the 100 beautiful Gift Baggies YOU sponsored and delivered them to Netanya.
It’s not common for girls who live in a children’s home in Israel to have any luxuries. But, because of your charity and kindness, they had a most delightful surprise.
Perhaps if girls from around the world were surveyed, maybe they wouldn’t consider a gift baggie such a big deal. But at our Home in Netanya, a refreshing spray from Laline, a rich Pantene shampoo/conditioner combo, an adorable hand held lip shaped hair brush with retractable mirror were just perfect. To top it off, we added a yummy chocolate bar and a 50 shekel note. When they can finally go for a walk – their house mothers will take them on a little shopping spree of their own!
To say the least, your generosity garnered a real “OH WOW” moment. Our girls say Today Rabbah to each and every one of YOU. Your concern and care for these Jewish orphans, make a world of difference in their lives. YOU made each girl BEAM with JOY!
