Will someone tuck me in tonight?”
Leah, tearfully asked on her first day of arrival to Lev Lalev!
Leah’s father recently died, and her mother is in a psychiatric facility in far off Jerusalem. Leah is only eight years old. Left without a family to care for her she is sad, scared, and depressed.
Since 1961, when a Holocaust survivor left his five children at the doorstep of the Grand Rabbi of Klausenberg with a note saying that he could no longer take care of his children. The Lev Lalev Orphanage has provided a safe, and loving home for desperate children with no place to go!
YES! With love and care we tuck in over 100 girls every night.
Giving Tuesday is a wonderful time to give Israel charity to Lev Lalev.
