Our hearts cry out for Avigail as she prepares for her upcoming wedding. She has no parents to walk her down to the chupah.
Avigail, now 22, came to Lev Lalev Orphanage when she was 10 years old after both of her parents died in a terrible car accident.
Young and fragile, Avigail had to navigate her adolescent years by herself with the help of the loving staff at Lev Lalev (as good as we are, we could never replace the love and warmth of her real parents). It was heartbreaking to hear Avigail crying on her pillow night after night.
On Wednesday evening August 2, a day after Tisha B’Av, Avigail will begin a new chapter in her life.
Tragically, Avigail, will not have her parents to walk her down to her Chupah, but will you be there for her on her special day?
