Watching when one of our girls move from a painful past to building a promising future, is what makes us proud.
On Sunday night, our dear Bruria got married in Jerusalem.
Bruria’s father was killed in a terrorist attack when she was a young teenager. Her mother wasn’t emotionally well enough to care for her, and that is when she was placed in our Children’s Home.
I was fortunate to attend the wedding. If only you could have been there to see how much your support means to her! Bruria looked gorgeous— her makeup was carefully done, her gown was beautiful, and most of all, her smile was radiant. If not for generous supporters like you, none of this would have been possible.
Bruria thanked me profusely for all that you and the entire Lev LaLev Family has done for her over the years, and I want to pass on that message. You helped a bride who has no family to help her. Because of you, she and her husband can, with G-d’s help, set up their new home and build a beautiful family.
Looking forward to many more happy occasions at our orphanage.
