There is no better way to spend the time during lock-down than to help orphaned girls in Israel!
Avigayil S. from Tel Mond, Israel, is a girl who loves both baking and fashion. In preparation for her bat mitzvah this spring, she took on a chesed project to combine these two passions.
Avigayil has started a bake sale business to raise money for the Pesach clothing drive at the Lev LaLev orphanage. She is selling brownies, cupcakes, and chocolate chip cookies, and after only two bake sales, Avigayil has raised more than 2,900 NIS. She is looking forward to having several more sales during the year. She plans to present the money to the orphanage before Pesach and hopes that the girls will enjoy their new spring wardrobes!
Avigail and her family also had a toy/game drive during the lockdown, where they got lots of toys, crafts and games sponsored and delivered them to the girls. Our girls are really enjoying the exciting gifts that they got, especially now that their schools are closed.
Thank you, Avigail for helping our girls!
