As we approach Thanksgiving we are thankful for our families and all the good we have in our lives. Let’s also remember those less fortunate throughout the world, including our Israeli girls at the Lev Lalev Orphanage.
As one example Sarah came to Lev Lalev as a sad and sickly 8 – year-old. She was unsure of where her next meal would come from, so for over a week she ate half a piece of her bread for breakfast, and then wrapped the other half and took it to her room. When asked about this Sarah answered, “The other half is for my dinner”.
What comes from your heart enters theirs. Your kindness will impact their lives forever. Enjoy the Holiday with your family and loved ones.
